Good pics, eh? Well first of all, in the interest of The Truth, the first marlin photo, the one with the far more handsome fishermen in the blue shirt is not from this year. Mike, the fisherman caught his first ever marlin last year, and sent me the picture, but for some reason I didn't receive it, so this photo is to make up for my lack of ability last year. I didn't want Mike to miss out on his well deserved attention and congrats on his first. We always remember that one, don't we? Anyway, the other pics are from this last week, and demonstrate some of the variety we're currently experiencing. The yellowtail, sierra, cabrilla, and pargo that properly should be here are, and in addition we still have some late season left over marlin and dorado, and not just one. Reports of pods of stripers up to 8 in number on the east side of Cerralvo came in this week, and Cornell caught himself some dorado this week, 4 good fish to 18 pounds along the shore where the houses are near Muertos. These fish all came on mackerel, which are in good supply. Out of La Paz Juan has also caught some really nice yellowtail, and even a few early season roosters. You never know, and that's why you shoule come fishing.
Bookings at Mag Bay for 2013 are coming in very fuerte, and I would guess that by end of April we'll be full.
If this is something that interests you, it is none too early to start talking to us about this great trip.
Take Care,
David
