All Rightee Then, 2013! Just got back from a 13 day trip north (sorry for any of you that couldn't get ahold of me). Had to work on some paperwork and visit Betty. This is the first time that I've had a 90 year old mother and I'm happy to say that she's doin' well considering. We had a 5 hour conversation about this and that and I really enjoyed it, been awhile. Got to visit with Hans Solo, Kelly, Glynnis, my sister Marsha and varied and appreciated in laws. Got to eat some great Indian food, a pleasure that we cannot enjoy in La Paz. Traveled by plane, train, car, bus, and even walked around a bit. Traversed the border at both San Ysidro and Otay. They're doin' a new crossing at S.Y. And I bet that'll be more convenient when they're done, but not yet. Flew on Volaris, which I really enjoy. Sometimes their website is a little difficult, but the rest of their operation is very good. Larger planes than the turbo crop dusters that Alaska/Horizon use. Got a special price (they run a lot of those) and got up and for $230 including extra luggage and exit row seating. No complaints. Speaking of A/H, as most of you know they are not serving La Paz after April 1. This ain't good news, but not a disaster either. You can fly into Cabo, and with the traditionally cheaper prices there it ends up being not too much more, even with the ground transport. Volaris out of TJ is my favorite choice, and we here that one of the Mexican majors is going to start LAX-LAP in June, Thursdays and Sundays. shot at the dates, but those loyal few of you that come here often are included in that, so if you have Starting to book up Mag Bay for 2013, and being loyal to our past customers they are getting first shot at the dates, but those loyal few of you that come here often are included in that, so if you have any questions or want to book for 2013, call me. We've decided not to attend the Fred Hall Show this spring. The yield the last few years just hasn't justified the expense involved, but I'm concerned about those of you that contact me at the show every year. Please contact your friends and let them know that we are still alive, just not go to hand guy Bart any more money for nothin'. Don't let them fish with Brand X, we're here! With all of the wind this winter the yellowtail are already in the area, and we are starting to catch a few of them already, along with some dorado that are still hanging out. I'll write some more shortly but I didn't want you to think that we weren't here. Take Care, Hug a Kid, Talk to Your Mom, David
